Construction of two large forms inside a luxury restaurant in Dubai. These pieces make up a giant egg on which the restaurant revolves. For its construction a metal structure has been used, on which a series of prefabricated GRP pieces with a special design and finish have been fixed. golden reflection. The whole is crossed by an elevator for the guests. The lower part of the egg houses the bathrooms and the upper part the dining room V.I.P. with a spectacular latticework on its roof.
- Adaptation of a spectacular design to a structure and prefabricated GRP parts. - Optimization of the structure and the GRP for its transport and placement. - Manufacturing of multi-purpose molds to complete all the pieces. - Cuttings of lattices in 3D using a machining robot. - Flame retardant material B-s2-d0. - Golden reflection finish, composed of layers of different materials. - Assembly in complex work.
The process began in July of 2017 where the structure and molds began. The pieces were manufactured and the special finish was applied to be sent in September. In December began a montage of lasted 3 months. The whole, over 20 meters high and 10 meters in diameter, forms a spectacular design, thanks to the GRP properties (complex shapes, lightness, ease of assembly) it has been possible to carry out in 6 months from its conception to its assembly in Dubai. Interior design can dream of the most unlikely forms. The prefabricated pieces in GRP are an effective and real solution, in any part of the planet.
